How to Attend Our Events

Wine Tastings and Wine Extravaganzas: Tastings do not require advance reservations and you may simply join us at any time during the tasting hours. Any charges for the tasting can be paid at the door.

Classes, Seminars, and Dinners: Seats for these events are only available by advance reservations. For more information on Reservation Tickets, see our Advance Reservation Information box at the bottom of this page.

Winebow is one of the largest and oldest importers of great wines from Italy, Spain, Argentina, and Chile. Their Italian Leonardo LoCasio Selections portfolio is the best anywhere. They have an incredible collection of great value wines. Clint Harris, Winebow's regional manager, will be on hand to present 20 wines from their portfolio, all under $20 before Extravaganza discounts. Our October Wine Festival takes a trip around the world to feature great wines from some of our favorite wine regions. California, Washington, Oregon, Spain, France (Rhone and Loire), Argentina, and Chile. Something for everyone from great values to incredible reserves. Chef Kevin Heath of Kevmark Catering will be on hand to present a host of hors d'oeuvres and artisan cheeses to pair with the wines. No reservations are required. Just $10.

The Wines of the Loire Valley Seminar with Jon-David Headrick

Jon-David Headrick Selections has been profiled by Wine Spectator magazine as the top importer of estate wines from the Loire Valley. Jon-David will be with us to present a comprehensive seminar and tasting on the wines of the Loire Valley, as well as the culture and history that make this such a rich region for great wines. Jon-David is young and a dynamic speaker, and his seminar 2 years ago was one of the Top 5 seminars we have ever presented and a resounding customer favorite.

Advance Reservation Ticket Information

Seats for all of our classes and wine dinners will only be available by the purchase of a reservation ticket prior to the event. Reservation Tickets may be purchased in person at the store or by phone.

Reservation Tickets are transferable by you to others if you cannot make the event, but due to the limited number of seats for these events and the large number of people wanting to attend, we can only accept cancellations for refunds prior to 3 days before the event. Within the 3 day period prior to an event, if the event is sold out we will be glad to accept the reservation ticket on consignment, and we will attempt to sell them for you. If we are able to sell them, we will credit you for the full value of the event cost.

Don't Miss Our Third Friday Wine & Food Festival

A Wine Merchants tradition for the last 10 years, our Wine & Food Festival is held on the third Friday of every month from 6 PM to 7:30 PM. Taste 12 to 16 wines and enjoy heavy hors d'oeuvres and artisan cheeses to match with the wines. The cost is just $10 and no reservations are required. Perfect for gathering with friends before heading on to dinner or a movie. Great wines, good food, and good friends. Join us at our next Wine & Food Festival.
